An estimated 500,000 Canadians have criminal records for cannabis-related offences — roughly equal to the entire population of Newfoundland and Labrador. These records continue to block individuals from accessing meaningful job opportunities, long after legalization.

We partnered with Cannabis Amnesty to launch Legalize Us - a campaign that highlights how systemic racism in cannabis law enforcement has disproportionately impacted marginalized communities, shutting out skilled, willing individuals from the workforce. It’s time for justice to mean opportunity.
